About

Hej, I’m Marty. I live in Odense, Denmark. During working hours I’m the CTO and co-owner of a company, and a very hands-on one at that. When your tech team is two people, the CTO also writes the code. But when the house goes quiet and the kettle boils, I retreat to my workshop bench.

This site is a notebook of experiments and punchlines. I don’t write generic industry roundups or polished tutorials. I write about what happens when you try things with your own hands—whether that’s putting Omarchy on an old MacBook, or building an app that reads my grocery receipts and knows the milk is running out before I do.

  • Omarchy, and the deep end of Linux
  • AI, and all the things it can actually do
  • Alternative rock and metal, played louder than the neighbours would like
  • Teaching software to track my groceries and warn me before the milk runs out
  • Gaming: Mythic+ dungeons in World of Warcraft, and counting down to GTA 6
